Chief of Staff for the Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division at Anduril, a defense technology company. What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to the TRS SVP, helping to drive clarity and focus across a broad portfolio of initiatives
  2. Design and manage how the TRS team interfaces with key stakeholders across the company (Finance, Government Relations, Strategic Growth, etc.), ensuring effective collaboration, information flow, and alignment
  3. Prepare and facilitate TRS-related content for executive meetings, All Hands, and offsites—driving agenda setting, action tracking, and execution against key decisions
  4. Own and drive business rhythm for the TRS team, including quarterly QBRs, strategic planning, internal business reviews, and team communications
  5. Lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives from ideation through to execution and measurement

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated success as a Chief of Staff or in a comparable COO-like capacity
  • Executive writing skills
  • Leading and executing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
  • Systems-thinking approach
  • High emotional intelligence
  • 12+ years of progressive professional experience
  • 8-10 years ideally in strategic operations, business leadership, management consulting, or supporting senior executives
  • Demonstrated success in a Chief of Staff, Chief Operating Officer, or similar executive leadership support role
  • Authority in executive strategy, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness

Nice to have

  • Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MS) or other advanced degree
  • Experience in the defense, aerospace, or advanced technology sectors
  • Familiarity with scaling operations within a rapidly growing technology company
  • Experience in organizations with significant government relations or regulatory components
