Experienced Sales Specialist for the China market, based in Hong Kong, to expand client coverage and develop regional strategy. Role involves client relationship building, understanding client investment objectives, and cross-selling firm products. Requires deep knowledge of the China market and financial products like ETFs, Equities, or Fixed Income.

What you'd actually do

  1. play a formative role in helping our team develop a strategy for the region
  2. expand our client coverage and improve our client servicing
  3. identify potential institutional clients and communicate our full range of services and products to them
  4. directly engage clients and prospects on their investment objectives and trading styles, and represent the firm externally to various partners
  5. cross-selling with institutional clients when appropriate

Skills

Required

  • Sales or sales trading experience in capital markets
  • Deep knowledge of the China market
  • Understanding of financial products (ETFs, Equities, Fixed Income)
  • Client relationship management
  • Strategic thinking
  • English and Mandarin Chinese fluency

Nice to have

  • Knowledge in ETF and/or bonds

What the JD emphasized

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in sales or sales trading in capital markets covering institutions
  • Strong understanding of the complexities of the Chinese market
  • Fluency in English and native Mandarin Chinese required
