What you'll do...
- Application of category management skill set to optimize the commodity and sourcing strategy
- Lead for commodity knowledge and market intelligence including cost, bill of process, etc.
- Lead TVM activities (NA and global lead/coordination) including objective setting and delivery
- Lead Program sourcing activities (SOBA & CPA)
- Lead sourcing strategy development and execution
- Lead strategic initiatives including Gap Week, Cost Strategy Week, QCDR/QBR Quarterly Meetings
- Lead cross-functional interface (PD/Finance/STA)
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related fields of study
- Strong analytical skills (sourcing evaluations, business case studies)
- Strong negotiation skills (creating leverage in both offensive and defensive situations)
- Cost analytics (understand commodity cost drivers, part cost breakdowns, Gap-to-OCE
- Strategic mindset and the ability to understand current challenges facing the automotive industry
- Strong working knowledge of Purchasing policies, procedures, and systems
- Fully competent with Microsoft Office Tools
- An ability to travel on company business as required

This position is a salary grade 6 and ranges from $72,480-121,440.
This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,480-141,360.
This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
