Circuit Design Engineering Intern

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · San Jose, CA, Costa Rica

Internship role focused on analog circuit design, simulation, and analysis within Intel's Silicon and Platform Engineering Group. Responsibilities include schematic development, performance evaluation, simulation analysis, and documentation. Requires a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with coursework/research in analog/mixed-signal design and experience with AI-assisted tools for scripting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to analog circuit design and analysis, including schematic development and performance evaluation.
  2. Perform circuit-level simulations to validate design intent across operating conditions and process corners.
  3. Support definition and documentation of circuit-level requirements and specifications.
  4. Analyze simulation results related to gain, bandwidth, noise, linearity, stability, and power.
  5. Prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports summarizing design approaches, simulation results, and insights.
