What you'd actually do

  1. Review insurance policy and coverages
  2. Investigate complex automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
  3. Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
  4. Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement

Skills

Required

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • 3 - 5 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy

Nice to have

  • Previous auto adjuster experience preferred
  • Enrolled in (or willing to enroll in) CIP designation
  • Fluency in other languages, is a strong asset
