Client Consulting Manager (product, Consulting Exp/ Card Scheme Migrations)

Visa is seeking a Client Consulting Manager to lead techno-functional project engagements for clients, focusing on delivering, setting-up, and configuring payment systems for new products and features. The role involves managing card products, scheme migrations, and commercial money movement solutions, collaborating with various internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring adherence to regulations and security policies. While the role is primarily product-focused within fintech, it requires exposure to AI use cases and the ability to translate opportunities into AI requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive planning, executing, and delivering projects related to card products (debit, credit, prepaid, etc.), card scheme migrations and commercial money movement solutions within scope, time, and budget constraints along a project plan.
  2. Work as a functional and technical champion within Visa to advocate for the client. Work with the solution architects and with the product teams to understand and navigate competing product development priorities and backlogs and to effectively communicate and manage client expectations.
  3. Collaborate with IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors to gather project requirements and track progress.
  4. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, reports, and meeting minutes.
  5. Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Skills

Required

  • 8 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, MD)
  • Payments and Financial Services and Technologies consulting background and experience
  • Experience in managing financial and payment system implementations, including card scheme migrations
  • Experience with software development testing, issues identification, and resolution
  • Experience in SDLC processes and tools (JIRA, Rally, Wikis, etc.)
  • Experience using Postman or other API platforms
  • Experience with REST processing language
  • Ability to analyze data sets to identify insights, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Exposure to real world AI use cases in financial services, with an ability to translate opportunities to AI requirements
  • Ability to learn new systems with minimal training
  • Experience working with cross functional teams that delivered on system requirements, design, development, implementations, testing, training, and support
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously, along project milestones, risks and dependencies
  • Understanding and working experience with Agile, Scrum delivery models to support Agile ceremonies
  • Experience providing direct customer support
  • Ability to manage customer expectations and negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to simplify and communicate complex technical issues to non-technical executives, sales teams, and other stakeholders
