What you'd actually do

  1. Independently researching and identifying new business opportunities.
  2. Identifying key influencers and decision makers to determine buying criteria and timelines.
  3. Building and cultivating relationships with key clients through ongoing communication and engagement.
  4. Conducting a needs analysis and identifying the client's pain points to determine how solutions address those needs.
  5. Negotiating and finalizing long-term contracts for Verizon's marketing and owner-paid Bulk program.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience
  • One or more years experience consulting, including prospecting and sales planning
  • Experience in value-based selling
  • Experience managing a funnel in a quota-based environment
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 60% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings for key business needs

Nice to have

  • A Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of telecommunications (broadband, FWA, etc.)
  • Strong influencing skills with internal and external key stakeholders through relationships
