Client Platform Architect

NVIDIA is seeking a Client Platform Architect to lead and deliver platform implementations, focusing on system/platform architecture, power and thermal management, and benchmarking. The role involves close collaboration with internal and external engineers, OEMs, and ODMs to define and deliver reference build specifications and configurable platform features. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system/platform architecture and a proven track record in the field.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive end‑to‑end platform architecture and implementation
  2. Enable smooth definition, interception, and execution of reference builds and form‑factor builds in close collaboration with internal Platform Architects and Silicon Architects.
  3. Act as the technical interface to OEMs and ODM and engage frequently with OEM/ODM representatives to align platform build choices, performance targets, and implementation constraints.
  4. Define and deliver reference build specifications
  5. Produce and hand off detailed reference framework specifications to Product Management and downstream teams to support product planning and execution.

Skills

Required

  • Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 12+ years of experience
