This role supports sales efforts in the healthcare industry, focusing on promoting and driving adoption of Tempus' AI-powered platform for precision medicine. The associate works with clients to identify opportunities for algorithmic tests and add-ons, drives customer adoption of online ordering, and builds relationships with healthcare professionals and pathology departments. While the company utilizes AI, this role is primarily sales support and client relationship management, not direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with the Clinical Account Executive CAE on plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients.
  2. Collaborate and coordinate with all sales positions (VP, Sales, RSD’s, DSM’s, SAM’s, and GL’s) to ensure successful attainment of company goals and objectives
  3. Identify opportunities with existing customers on the use of Tempus algorithmic tests and add ons. These will include but not limited to HRD, TO, DPYD, UGT1A1, PURist
  4. Collaborate with Clinical Account Executives on upsell opportunities for various products
  5. Drive customer adoption of online ordering through the Tempus Hub and EMR integrations

  • Ability to maintain an outstanding level of market, customer, and product knowledge necessary to support sales objectives
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with healthcare professionals
  • Strong administrative skills and sophistication to manage business in complex environments
  • Travel throughout the territory as needed

Nice to have

  • Sales support experience in healthcare (preferably oncology or pathology) with a history of proven past performance, meeting or exceeding expectations
