Clinical Consulting Director - General Readiness

This role leads a team of Clinical Consultants responsible for the Post Go-Live (PGL) Readiness and Onsite Transition Methodology, ensuring high-quality delivery of readiness content and onsite/virtual Readiness events for EHR sustainment after go-live. The Director partners with Project Managers and clinical stakeholders to mitigate risks and guide teams through sustainment activities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage, coach, and develop a team of Clinical Consultants; set performance expectations; support capability growth and consistency of delivery across projects.
  2. Oversee the design, development, and execution of the Support Readiness Fundamentals series, ensuring alignment to project objectives and site requirements.
  3. Ensure the team provides clinical expertise and leadership to site teams to support smooth EHR sustainment after go-live.
  4. Partner with Project Managers to proactively identify, document, escalate, and mitigate post-go-live support risks and issues.
  5. Serve as a senior clinical liaison, connecting informatics teams, providers, and leadership to ensure clear communication and alignment on key objectives.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or EHR optimization
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium, including system build, implementation, and workflow alignment
  • Proven project management expertise with experience in clinical transformation initiatives
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or Business Administration
  • Clinical licensure
