Closing Coordinator (escrow Assistant) - Southern California

This role supports the settlement process in real estate transactions by interacting with parties, providing quotes, opening orders, reviewing contracts, and managing records. It requires experience in escrow and strong organizational and communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with agents, buyers, sellers and all necessary third parties to obtain all information needed for settlement.
  2. Provide quotes and explanations about the settlement process and title insurance to potential customers
  3. Opening orders, reviewing contracts, verifying information such as buyer/seller names, sales price, EMD, and other pertinent fee allocation
  4. Order and maintain detailed records, including following up on needed items. Ensure timely delivery of EMD, HOA, solar, lines, and payoffs.
  5. Deliver great customer experience while guiding clients and agents through the closing process

Skills

Required

  • 1+ year working an escrow desk as an assistant
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to guide clients and real estate agents through every step of the process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, “can-do” attitude
