This role is a Cloud & AI Specialist focused on selling Azure solutions to general trading companies in Japan. The primary responsibility is to understand customer business needs and propose optimal cloud solutions, including AI and cloud-driven transformations, to create new customer experiences and solve operational productivity issues. The role involves building relationships with C-level decision-makers, collaborating with internal sales and technical teams, and partners to maximize Azure utilization from deal creation to adoption. Key aspects include leading sales strategies, managing sales pipelines using AI-enhanced tools, and promoting solution plays related to migration, data platforms, and AI applications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Leads the sales strategy tailored to each customer's priorities, showcasing Microsoft's dedication to secure, AI-powered transformation and addressing their specific needs within the customer success plan, fostering long-term partnerships through AI-driven insights.
  2. Assesses and qualifies sales opportunities following sales frameworks and guidelines, ensuring alignment with AI-enhanced sales methodologies and best practices.
  3. Strategically analyzes business and emerging opportunities to enhance the customer portfolio and drive customer innovation.
  4. Promotes and executes key Solution Plays that 1. Migrate & Modernize, 2. Unify Data Platform, and 3. AI Application & Developer to accelerate customer transformation and business outcomes.
  5. Leads collaborations with others on whitespace analysis and leverages expertise to identify and capitalize on business opportunities and market gaps within the assigned market domain, utilizing AI-driven market intelligence tools to assess trends and insights.
