This role is a solution sales leader focused on driving enterprise adoption of Microsoft's cloud and AI solutions, particularly Azure. The specialist will work with customers to understand their business needs, recommend and demonstrate solutions, and help them achieve digital transformation through cloud computing and Generative AI. The core responsibility is to exceed Azure consumption targets by leading virtual teams and closing multi-million dollar deals, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create “buy-in” vision with key decision makers by building executive relationships to generate excitement around Microsoft solutions’ value to influence long-term strategic direction
  2. Engage and jointly sell with Partners and Priority ISVs to maximize business results by bringing together Microsoft and Partner solutions to deliver against customer business outcomes
  3. Build business cases and customer proposals to substantiate the value of the solution leveraging available programs and offer to negotiate, close the deal and successfully displace competition.
  4. Lead multi-million-dollar deals requiring orchestration of virtual teams composed of industry, solution, technical, licensing & legal team members.
  5. Exceed sales / cloud consumption quota by driving pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, OR related field
  • 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • 5+ years experience leading the sales of large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure migration and application modernization projects to large/global enterprise customers

Nice to have

  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, or other public cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, Data Analytics and GenAI technologies and how they translate into business impact.
  • Versed in cloud migration and modernization.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud and datacenter infrastructure competitor landscape.
  • Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
