This role is for a Senior Manager in Cloud Architecture within Deloitte's Cyber team. The position focuses on improving clients' cyber and organizational risk profiles by delivering Cyber services, identifying intrusions, and managing cybersecurity challenges. The role involves leading teams in designing and implementing secure cloud and network solutions, including SASE, zero trust, and enterprise firewalls, across major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Experience with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks is also required.

What you'd actually do

  1. As a Senior Manager, you will lead with our diverse teams of passionate and technically competent network security professionals to help solve for some of today’s toughest cybersecurity challenges to enable or clients to achieve business growth and manage risk.
  2. Includes security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.
  3. Experience with leading cloud, network, and security platforms across multiple providers and ecosystems
  4. Strong understanding of comparative solution assessment across cloud-native and third-party security platforms
  5. Ability to communicate and advise on solution design based on client use cases, requirements, architecture constraints, and success criteria

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Cyber Security)
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in cloud, network, or identity security domains
  • 6+ years of experience with SSE/SASE, zero trust, or enterprise firewall solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto Network, Netskope or similar cloud security platforms)
  • 6+ years of experience with architecture and design of secure access, network security, and cloud-delivered security solutions in enterprise environments
  • 6+ years of experience with one or more major cloud platfors and their native security capabilities, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • 10+ years of experience in the design and architecture of enterprise-level technical stacks, including network segmentation, Load Balancers, Subnetting, Next-Generation firewall design, and highly scalable security solutions like Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies
  • 10+ years of experience operating in large, complex, or enterprise environments leveraging cloud platforms and integrated security toolsets
  • 6+ years of experience with governance, risk, or compliance initiatives involving common frameworks and regulatory requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years leading client workshop demonstrating and influencing decisions in SASE and network security tool selection, architecture design, and education enablement
  • Minimum of 10+ years serving in a leadership capacity over the implementation of Palo Alto Networks or Zscaler solution, or similar security solutions in large, complex environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Minimum of 10+ years managing teams in a technical leadership capacity
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, on average

  • Experience leading business development and sales activities, including defining scope, building resource estimates and pricing, developing proposals, and supporting proposal delivery for network and cloud security services
  • Relevant advanced cybersecurity or cloud/security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CCIE, cloud provider security certifications, or leading network/security platform certifications)
