Cloud Audit - Vice President

This role is for a Vice President in the Internal Audit group at JPMorgan Chase, focusing on Cloud Audit. The primary responsibility is to assess the adequacy of control environments for the bank's cloud and AI expansion efforts, performing end-to-end cloud audits, evaluating controls, analyzing risks, and reporting findings. The role requires significant experience in technology auditing, cloud technologies, and internal control concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the subject matter expert program for Cloud audit capabilities within the department
  2. Support end-to-end cloud audits in a risk focused manner and to a high standard in accordance with department and professional standards
  3. Engage in clear communication with stakeholders relating to the audit scope, risks and issues
  4. Evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of the cloud control environment
  5. Analyze Risks and proactively identify the root-cause of issues with a view to providing recommendations for improvement where weaknesses are identified

Skills

Required

  • internal or external technology auditing experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience)
  • Experience working with and auditing cloud technologies (AWS, Google and Azure)
  • Recognized cloud security certification (CCSP, CCSK, AWS certifications etc.)
  • Solid understanding of internal control concepts
  • Knowledge of system development life cycle concepts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management
  • Ability to influence change

  • Related professional certification such as CISA, CISSP
