This role is for a Cloud Data Platform Sales Representative at Oracle, focusing on selling Oracle's data platform cloud solutions and traditional database licenses to new and existing customers. The responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, developing sales strategies, building relationships with stakeholders, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customers derive maximum value from Oracle's products. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of Oracle data platform products, enterprise software sales experience, and a passion for technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and target new business opportunities for Oracle Data platform Cloud and license solutions across multiple industries to ensure coverage of the assigned territory.
  2. Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate leads through customer engagement, networking, attending events, and leveraging digital channels.
  3. Engage with business and technical decision-makers, using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements regarding data platform management.
  4. Provide tailored solutions by promoting Oracle’s suite of data platform cloud solutions (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata Cloud) and on-premises database licenses.
  5. Master and share the _“Why Oracle Story” _that represents the value Oracle provides to customers with our unified, multi-pillar offerings.
