Cloud Data Platform Sales Representative

Sales role focused on selling Oracle's data platform cloud solutions and traditional database licenses to new and existing customers. Responsibilities include identifying business opportunities, developing sales strategies, building relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer value realization. Requires a strong understanding of Oracle's data platform products and enterprise software sales experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and target new business opportunities for Oracle Data platform Cloud and license solutions across multiple industries to ensure coverage of the assigned territory.
  2. Develop and execute outbound strategies to generate leads through customer engagement, networking, attending events, and leveraging digital channels.
  3. Engage with business and technical decision-makers, using a consultative sales approach to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements regarding data platform management.
  4. Provide tailored solutions by promoting Oracle’s suite of data platform cloud solutions (e.g., Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Exadata Cloud) and on-premises database licenses.
  5. Close deals and meet or exceed revenue targets, quotas and KPI’s for both cloud and license-based Oracle data platform solutions.
