This role is for a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator focused on designing, building, and sustaining foundational cloud environments in Microsoft Azure. It involves implementing Infrastructure as Code, automation, security policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance for enterprise applications and digital engineering workloads. The role emphasizes infrastructure operations and reliability rather than application software development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure-based infrastructure solutions including networking, compute, storage, identity integration, and supporting services
  2. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration automation solutions using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash
  3. Implement cloud policies to enforce security, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage user access
  4. Build repeatable landing zones and cloud infrastructure patterns that support multiple application teams and enterprise services
  5. Support environment standup, expansion, patching, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery planning

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure Management
  • 3+ years of experience designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and services with Azure or Amazon Web Services
  • 3+ years of experience writing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
  • 3+ years of experience writing PowerShell or other scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating system

Nice to have

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Current certifications in Azure Administrator and/or Azure Solutions Architect
  • Experience with Azure networking, private connectivity, DNS, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity
  • Experience supporting regulated or mission-critical environments
  • Experience with Azure policy, governance, subscription management, and resource organization
  • Experience with high availability and resilience engineering
  • Experience with cost optimization and cloud resource governance
