MongoDB is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer in Dublin to ensure the operational success of their multi-cloud database-as-a-service, Atlas. The role involves monitoring systems, reviewing logs, troubleshooting performance, administering servers, and automating tasks within a 24/7/365 global operations team. The position requires experience in Linux system administration, monitoring, and networking, with a preference for candidates with DevOps/SRE experience and knowledge of cloud platforms.

What you'd actually do

  1. Successfully coordinate and collaborate with a global team of Cloud Operations Engineers who are tasked with ensuring our uptime guarantees to our Atlas customer base
  2. Help scale the worldwide Cloud Operations Engineering team with the strategic implementation and refinement of new processes and tools
  3. Assist in scoping, designing and deploying systems that reduce Mean Time to Resolve for customer incidents
  4. Monitor and detect emerging customer-facing incidents on the Atlas platform; assist in their proactive resolution
  5. Automate routine monitoring and troubleshooting tasks
