Cloud Security Engineer (secret Clearance)

Cloud Security Engineer role focused on assessing and enhancing security across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments. Requires an active Secret Clearance and experience with cloud security architecture and controls.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assess cloud environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify security risks, control gaps, and configuration issues.
  2. Design, implement, and improve cloud security controls, including identity and access management, network security, encryption, logging, and monitoring.
  3. Support cloud security architecture reviews for new and existing solutions and provide recommendations aligned to security and compliance requirements.
  4. Investigate cloud cloud security events and findings, analyze root causes, and support remediation activities with engineering and operations teams.
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, baselines, and reports related to cloud security controls and cloud risk management.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar technical field
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with cloud security controls
