Cloud Security Senior Consultant – Azure Infrastructure & AI

This role focuses on cloud security consulting for Azure environments, including specific experience with Azure AI services like Microsoft Foundry and Azure OpenAI. The consultant will be responsible for security assessments, solution design, implementation, and remediation related to cloud cyber risk, governance, identity, application security, and data protection within Azure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supporting delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application security, platform as a service security, infrastructure security, AI security, security monitoring, resilience, and data protection
  2. Performing cloud security assessments, solution design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 environments
  3. Working directly with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions
  4. Developing project deliverables, including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation documentation
  5. Contributing to business development, internal training, technical research, and other practice development activities related to Microsoft cloud security services

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, solution design, or cloud security implementation in Azure environments
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud security solutions in public, private, or hybrid cloud environments
  • 4+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)-based infrastructure configuration
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud native application protection platform (CNAPP), cloud security posture management (CSPM), or cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) technologies
  • Experience with architecting security on Microsoft Azure, including controls for Azure AI services such as Microsoft Foundry or Azure OpenAI covering data protection, identity and access management, and model scanning
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology
  • Previous consulting experience
  • Microsoft certification in Azure or Security, including AZ-500, AZ-204, SC-900, SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, SC‑500, AI‑300, AI‑103, or AI‑200
  • Cybersecurity certification such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or Cisco Certified Network
