The role requires coaching team members to focus on customer experience through efficient delivery, driving adherence to Microsoft standards and recommended practices, and providing a holistic perspective of customer challenges and competitor architectures. The role is within the CSA Global Delivery team. It is a centralized group consisting of both full-time employees (FTEs) and Vendor CSAs dedicated to enhancing the customer's experience with Microsoft as they transition to hybrid/public cloud solutions. We achieve this by offering our customers value through adaptable and efficient delivery methods, all underpinned by standardized processes. This role requires prior experience on M365 technologies and growth mindset to skill up on Copilot and PowerPlatform
Responsibilities
Demand for Modern Work (MW) and Power Platform is trending down Our partner (BeyondSoft) utilization in this area is currently at [18%], well below the target of [78%], and this gap has been persistent. We are already working with the Area CSA team on recovery actions — deal assignment, skill repurposing, pulling bookings forward, etc. — but the root cause is a structural decline in demand, so in the mid-term we need to revisit how resources are allocated.
On the other hand, customer demand for Security is trending up (AI security, Zero Trust, SOC modernization, etc.) The Area CSA lead has also shared the following feedback: "Security engagements are increasing, and we are short on CSAs who can lead implementation in [AI security / Zero Trust / SOC]. We'd like the GD side to expand capacity in these skills."
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting; OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting;
