This role partners with customers, sales, and engineering teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The Cloud Solution Engineer drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services, from discovery to deployment. They engage with strategic customers, build leadership relationships, and translate business needs into solutions, potentially involving code development and scripting for implementation. The role also involves creating technical assets, serving as a technical lead for customers and sales, and influencing engineering roadmaps. It requires deep technical and business skills, with potential interaction with C-level executives and mentoring of others.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems.
  2. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
  3. Engages with strategic customers, builds leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions.
  4. Works directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions.
  5. May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
