This role partners with customers, sales, and engineering to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems and drive consumption of Oracle cloud services. The Cloud Solution Engineer engages with strategic customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions, potentially involving code development and scripting for successful deployments. They also create technical assets, serve as a technical lead for customers and sales, and influence engineering roadmaps based on customer needs. The role requires deep technical and business skills, with potential interaction at the C-level, and maintaining expertise in emerging technologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems.
  2. Drives Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.
  3. Engages with strategic customers, builds leadership relationships at multiple levels within organizations in order to design and implement solutions.
  4. Works directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures and translates business needs into solutions.
  5. May implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
