Cloud Sourcing Manager

This role focuses on sourcing, procurement, and commercial management of large-scale public cloud capacity from hyperscale providers. The Cloud Sourcing Manager will build and manage vendor relationships, negotiate cloud service agreements, and develop sourcing strategies in partnership with internal engineering, finance, and legal teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary point of accountability for hyperscale public cloud providers, building and maintaining senior-level vendor relationships across regions.
  2. Lead commercial and contractual negotiations for significant cloud service agreements, including pricing, capacity commitments, service levels, and commercial remedies.
  3. Manage ongoing vendor performance, including capacity delivery, service incidents, SLA enforcement, credits, and commercial claims.
  4. Conduct public cloud market, pricing, and competitive analysis across regions and availability zones to inform sourcing decisions.
  5. Define and maintain cloud sourcing strategies, including provider mix, regional expansion, commitment structures, and pricing models.
