This role is for a Cloud Support Engineer for AWS's European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). The primary responsibility is to provide customer support by solving technical cases through various channels, applying troubleshooting techniques, and driving customer interactions. The role also involves coaching new hires, developing training, partnering with development teams, writing tools/scripts, and working on process improvement. While the company works with AI, this specific role is focused on customer support and cloud infrastructure, not direct AI/ML model development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Solving customer’s cases through a variety of customer contact channels which include telephone, email, and web/live chat.
  2. Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions for our customers and drive customer interactions by thoughtfully working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue.
  3. Coach/mentor new hires, develop & present training, partner with development teams on complex issues or contact deflection initiatives, participate in new hiring, write tools/script to help the team, or work with leadership on process improvement and strategic initiatives to ensure better customer experience and compliance with global AWS standards, practices and policies.
