**CNC Machine Operators are responsible for operation of CNC Machine **
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for CNC machinery, demonstrating proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls and conducting ongoing equipment maintenance and care
- Conduct minimal deburring and surface protection on workpieces
- Take detailed measurements and preliminary evaluations to ensure workpiece acceptability
- Perform changes and minor adjustments of all tooling and attachments in the machine; troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during machining process
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records relating to production, downtime, quality and other relevant metrics
- Assist in fixture set up
- Consistently meet minimum production output and quality standards
- Responsible for area housekeeping including machine, storage area, etc.
- Ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with current company policies and procedures, especially following safety guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of recent machine operation experience, preferably in a metal cutting and/or fabrication industry
- Able to measure accurately using various measuring tools as well as perform basic shop math and blueprint reading
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate these skillsets:
- Knowledge of operating requirements
- Experience with manufacturing equipment, including different types of cutting tools and their appropriate usage
- Effective communication with team members, supervisors and engineers
- Understand entire manufacturing processes, standards procedures and polices
- Operates with manufacturing safety

Summary Pay Range:
$22.50 - $29.20
