Collections Analyst

Netflix is seeking a Collections Analyst to support their Credit & Collections function. The role involves resolving complex issues to improve collection speed across business lines like Advertising, Partnerships, and Consumer Products. Responsibilities include reviewing aging reports, contacting customers with overdue balances, fostering customer relationships, managing disputes, and preparing support packages for problem accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with at least 4 years of experience in collections and a Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ensure that Netflix is paid on time by reviewing aging reports and worklists regularly to identify and follow up on overdue balances in a timely manner.
  2. Reach out to customers with overdue balances via phone, email, or written communication to ensure timely payment. Maintain a professional, courteous, and solution-focused approach when addressing late payments.
  3. Foster strong customer relationships to ensure future payments are received on time and disputes are minimized.
  4. Provide exceptional levels of customer service and professionalism in customer interactions whilst also ensuring company interests are protected.
  5. Be a trusted business partner and provide exceptional service levels when interacting with internal Netflix teams and colleagues.

Skills

Required

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Accounts Receivable and Collections processes.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a collections environment.
  • Experience in communicating directly with customers
  • Proven ability to handle high volumes of collection activities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in other languages (Spanish / Portuguese) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud-related ERP systems is a plus (Workday, HighRadius, Salesforce).
  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance-related a plus)
