Datadog is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition in the SMB market. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from outbound pipeline generation to closing deals, and requires a strong understanding of complex technical products. The AE will collaborate with internal teams and strategically prospect into technical leadership roles. What you'd actually do

  1. Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound pipeline generation activity
  2. Become a Datadog expert through continued product and sales trainings
  3. Manage the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiation
  4. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
  5. Strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users
