Datadog is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition in small to midsize markets. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with internal teams, and conveying the value of Datadog's observability and security platform, which leverages AI for issue detection and resolution.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity
  2. Become a Datadog expert through continued product and sales trainings
  3. Manage the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiation
  4. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
  5. Strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users
