Commercial Account Executive

This role is for a Commercial Account Executive at Qualtrics, focusing on selling their SaaS Experience Management (XM) platform to mid-sized companies. The role involves acquiring new business, understanding client goals, developing account plans, building relationships with senior executives, and collaborating with internal teams. Success is measured by exceeding sales targets and quotas. The role requires technology/software sales experience, specifically in mid-market/commercial sales, and experience selling into Marketing and HR functions. It is not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Your focus will be on acquiring new business and selling the Qualtrics platform to Corporate and Mid-Market accounts, engaging with stakeholders from champions up to C-level executives.
  2. You will consult with prospects and clients on their strategic business goals and develop account plans for a set list of target accounts, including power maps, demand generation, and closing strategies.
  3. You will establish, manage, and nurture relationships between Qualtrics and senior executives at both client and prospect companies. Internally, you'll strategise with customer success, solutions consultants, partners, and others on creating demand in accounts and driving senior engagement.
  4. Maintaining a real-time understanding of Qualtrics' solutions and the competitive landscape will be crucial for crafting win-based proposals and pricing strategies.
  5. Collaboration is key: you'll leverage support from your sales team, sales operations, legal, customer success, finance, and other departments to best serve your customers.
