Commercial Named Account Executive for GitLab, an intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps. The role focuses on managing relationships with mid-market customers, articulating the value of GitLab, and exceeding sales quotas. While the company embraces AI as a productivity tool for all employees, this role is in sales and does not directly build AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Meet or exceed quota while fostering strong customer relationships
  2. Articulate the value of GitLab to our [Commercial](https://handbook.gitlab.com/handbook/sales/#market-segmentation) prospects and customers in the US Eastern region
  3. Take ownership of and act as the CEO for the book of business in your territory:
  4. Contribute to root cause analyses on wins/losses.
  5. Contribute to documenting improvements in our [sales handbook](https://handbook.gitlab.com/handbook/sales/)

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated progressive experience with SaaS sales through pitching on value to development team (preferably devops)
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
  • Effective communicator, strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, driven and results oriented
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills

Nice to have

  • Interest in GitLab, and open source software
  • Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, Application Lifecycle Management
