Datadog is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition for their observability and security platform, which is described as being for the AI era. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with internal teams, and strategically prospecting into technical leaders. While the company's product is positioned for the AI era, this role is a sales position and not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity
  2. Become a Datadog expert through continued product and sales trainings
  3. Manage the full sales cycle, including technical demonstrations and negotiation
  4. Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
  5. Strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end-users
