Commercial Contracts Manager for Ford Energy, responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle for customers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with legal and business requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initiation to close-out, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing various commercial agreements.
  2. Ensure all contractual terms and conditions are adhered to, minimizing risks and fostering beneficial relationships with all involved parties.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments, including Legal, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Project Management, to ensure contract terms meet business requirements and objectives.
  4. Conduct meticulous review of legal and financial documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, legal frameworks, and industry regulations.
  5. Negotiate contract terms and conditions with customers, vendors, and partners to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining positive relationships.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial terms
  • Proven negotiation and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

  • Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) certification
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, JD)
  • Experience with specific industry-related contracts
