What you'd actually do

  1. Support Fivetran’s sales organization by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, and related amendments
  2. Partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Security, and RevOps to facilitate efficient deal execution while managing legal and business risk
  3. Advise on contractual issues related to data protection, privacy, security, IP, liability, and compliance ina SaaS environment
  4. Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance to help close deals while maintaining scalable contracting processes

Skills

Required

  • 4 to 7 years’ experience negotiating and drafting sales agreements, including in-house experience at a SaaS or technology company and/or law firm.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy, security, and technology contracting issues in a B2B SaaS context
  • Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong communication skills and comfort advising non-legal stakeholders
  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • High attention to detail, with demonstrated self-initiative that drives a desire for impact and achievement.
  • Admitted to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction

Nice to have

  • CIPP (US) certification is a plus.
