What you'd actually do

  1. Build and manage a sales pipeline by prospecting new accounts, growing existing customers, and closing a high volume of transactions across the full Tableau platform.
  2. Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders and C-suite decision makers to drive customer satisfaction and long-term value.
  3. Coordinate with internal teams — including product support, customer success, and sales engineering — to meet customer needs and deliver on business objectives.
  4. Partner with account teams and the broader partner ecosystem to develop territory plans and execute long-term account strategy.

Skills

Required

  • 5–10 years of full-cycle sales experience
  • 3 years in a field sales role
  • Proven ability to manage existing accounts for upsell and cross-sell, or to drive new logo acquisition
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives

Nice to have

  • Experience selling business intelligence, analytics, or data platforms
  • Ability to develop and execute territory and account plans in a complex, matrixed sales environment
  • Background in the Technology, Media, Telecommunications, or Consumer Business Services industries
