This role is for a Commercial Partner Sales, Partner Acquisition at Klaviyo. The primary focus is on building and deepening relationships with advisory firms and technology companies to drive Klaviyo's Owned Marketing vision. The role involves prospecting, recruiting, onboarding, and activating new and existing agency partners. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of BDR/SDR experience or a similar role in a high-volume sales or partnership sales environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect, recruit, and onboard net new agency partners
  2. Orchestrate effective cold outreach across multiple channels
  3. Generate meetings for the sales team through the rapid response to and qualification of inbound leads from our partners
  4. Learn to effectively identify qualified leads, articulate Klaviyo’s value proposition, and route opportunities properly to the direct sales team
  5. Expand into agencies’ books of business with upsell opportunities

Skills

Required

  • 1-2 years of BDR/SDR experience or a similar role
  • Highly adept at influencing and relationship building
  • Excellent organizational skills

Nice to have

  • experience in a high-volume, high-velocity sales or partnership sales environment is a plus, especially at a MarTech SaaS company
