Communication Technician III

This role is for a Communication Technician III at Johnson & Johnson, focusing on developing and directing technical communication campaign solutions for manufacturing site programs. Responsibilities include implementing communication campaigns, executing communication solutions, leading people in technical communication initiatives, providing training, preparing work reports, collaborating with other sites, developing storytelling for publications, leading internal communication projects, measuring communication impact, leading networks for collaboration, editing written pieces, interviewing experts, ensuring consistent messaging, leading the use of communication equipment, communicating business issues, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental practices. The role requires a High School Diploma, Associate Degree, or Unfinished Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Graphic Design, or equivalent, with 4 to 6 years of experience. Key skills include leadership, influence, interpersonal relationships, problem-solving, teamwork, discipline, confidentiality, experience leading staff in communication areas, software proficiency, and knowledge of GMP/ISO is preferred. Bilingual Spanish-English is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Implements and coordinates communication campaigns according to business's internal and external programs’ needs.
  2. Execute communication solutions for business’s programs and projects.
  3. Leads people in the implementation of technical site’s communication solutions.
  4. Provides training and guidance to less experienced team members.
  5. Prepares and schedules work reports for the area.
