Communications Lead, Infrastructure and Engineering

Anthropic Anthropic · AI Frontier · San Francisco, CA · Communications

Communications Lead for Anthropic's Claude infrastructure and engineering, focusing on external storytelling for inference and reliability. This role will craft narratives, develop messaging frameworks for technical topics, lead comms responses to engineering issues, and coach spokespeople.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own external comms for Claude's inference and reliability story across launches, milestones, and the steady drumbeat of updates
  2. Carry both the high-altitude narrative for Claude's engineering work and the technical translation that makes it credible
  3. Develop messaging frameworks for technical topics that need to land with developers, customers, and press without losing the substance
  4. Lead comms when a technical or engineering issue needs a coordinated cross-functional response
  5. Partner closely with the product organization on decisions that impact users and our brand, bringing those considerations into the room early and often
