Uber is seeking a Manager, Communications to lead public affairs and communications strategy across Canada. This role involves shaping strategic narratives, driving earned media, supporting advocacy campaigns, and strengthening Uber's reputation. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with sharp news judgment and the ability to navigate complex environments, collaborating with various internal teams to advance business priorities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead strategic communications initiatives that advance Uber’s reputation and business priorities across Canada.
  2. Develop integrated campaigns spanning earned media, stakeholder engagement, executive visibility, and public affairs.
  3. Shape compelling narratives around Uber’s mobility and delivery businesses, including innovation, economic opportunity, and community impact.
  4. Build and manage relationships with media, influencers, and key third-party stakeholders across Canada.
  5. Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
