Netflix is seeking a Communications Manager for Korea to develop and execute strategic communications plans, manage media relations, and protect the company's reputation. The role requires deep understanding of the Korean media landscape, strong storytelling abilities, and experience in the entertainment, tech, or media industries.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the development and execution of communications strategies that protect and enhance Netflix’s corporate reputation and content / business leadership in Korea.
  2. Build and nurture exceptional relationships with key editors and reporters across traditional and digital media (business, tech, culture, and entertainment desks).
  3. Draft and refine high-stakes communications materials, including press releases, reactive statements, executive talking points, and briefing documents.
  4. Proactively identify potential brand risks and develop effective mitigation strategies and messaging to address complex business and industry issues.
  5. Identify impactful story angles and secure high-profile coverage that highlights Netflix’s investment in the Korean creative community and tech innovation.

  • Corporate communications or PR agency experience
  • Experience in entertainment, tech, or media industries in Korea
  • Strong media relationships in Korea
  • Ability to handle complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Mastery of Korean language
