Meta is looking for a senior Communications Manager in Thailand to lead their communications strategy, shape public narrative, and manage reputational risk. The role involves advising leadership, building partnerships, leading rapid-response communications, and developing proactive narratives around Meta's business and AI innovation. The candidate should be data-driven, have deep expertise in the Thai media landscape, and experience integrating AI tools to improve communications efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive the end-to-end communications strategy for Thailand, aligned to regional SEA and global priorities
  2. Serve as a member of the Thailand Leadership Team, embedding reputational considerations into business and product decisions
  3. Build trusted partnerships with cross-functional teams — including Policy, Legal, Marketing, Product, and Business — to align on communications strategy
  4. Lead rapid-response communications on complex crises, regulatory issues, and reputational incidents — triaging, coordinating cross-functionally, and advising on posture
  5. Develop and maintain country-specific crisis playbooks, scenario plans, and spokesperson readiness

Skills

Required

  • Fluency in Thai and written and spoken English
  • 10+ years of professional experience in communications
  • Experience managing PR agencies and cross-functional stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional judgment, creativity, and ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Proven expertise in social media & creator strategy
  • Strong data literacy
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing communications strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Deep, well-established relationships with Thai media and proven media relations expertise
  • Track record of advising senior leadership on reputational risk and strategic communications decisions
  • Experience working with creators and influencers
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development and staying current with emerging AI technologies

  • Experience in the technology industry or at a global platform company
  • Background in managing communications during regulatory or policy-driven moments
