This role focuses on building and running a community storytelling function to showcase what people are building with Claude, aiming to drive user acquisition and product value through real-world examples. It involves strategy, execution, and hands-on content production, including managing hackathons and building a use case library.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build and run a user-facing community storytelling function from scratch, including sourcing strategies, editorial standards, content strategy, production systems, and measurement
  2. Define the creative direction and visual standard for "Built with Claude" as an owned content channel
  3. Build and operationalize our virtual hackathon program as a key way to surface user projects
  4. Source builders and their projects from across the community's programs, interview them, and produce spotlights and case studies end to end
  5. Build and maintain a use case library that functions as a real project repository with working demos and linked repos, not a marketing page

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years in creative direction, editorial, content strategy, or community marketing
  • Strong writing and production skills
  • Comfortable with data and connecting editorial work to measurable outcomes
  • Ability to move between strategic creative direction and fast-turnaround production
  • Experience working across functions

Nice to have

  • Experience producing or scaling hackathon, competition, or user showcase programs
  • Genuinely curious about what people build with AI tools
