Compensation Manager

T-Mobile is seeking a Compensation Manager to design, manage, and evolve compensation programs for their Consumer organization. This role involves strategy and hands-on execution, partnering with HR and business leaders to deliver competitive, compliant, and data-driven compensation programs. Responsibilities include managing base pay and incentive plans, conducting market pricing and benchmarking, supporting merit and bonus cycles, building analytics and reports, and driving compensation initiatives. Requires 4-7 years of compensation experience, strong analytical and Excel skills, and experience with market pricing tools and Workday is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and evolve base pay and incentive plans to ensure alignment with business goals
  2. Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, and benchmarking to keep programs competitive
  3. Support planning, execution, and communication of merit and bonus cycles
  4. Partner across teams to ensure plans are compliant, well-documented, and effectively executed
  5. Build and analyze dashboards, audits, and reports to inform decisions and identify trends

Skills

Required

  • 4-7 years of compensation experience
  • Experience with market pricing tools and compensation analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward
  • Strong communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience working in Workday a plus
  • CCP, CSCP, PHR, or SPHR certification a plus
  • Experience supporting large, matrixed organizations
  • Background in incentive compensation design or governance preferred
