What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end research initiatives from hypothesis development through insights delivery, employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to answer complex business questions
  2. Conduct deep-dive market research analyzing industry trends, competitor strategies, customer behaviors, and emerging technologies across the travel and e-commerce ecosystem
  3. Synthesize insights from multiple data sources (primary research, secondary sources, analytics data, customer feedback) to develop holistic, evidence-based narratives
  4. Partner with senior product leaders to frame strategic questions, identify critical intelligence gaps, and inform product roadmap decisions
  5. Develop business cases and strategic recommendations that quantify market opportunities, competitive threats, and potential ROI of product initiatives

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, competitive intelligence, or strategic research roles
  • Expert in research methodologies including competitive benchmarking, market sizing, and primary research design
  • Skilled in developing proprietary frameworks and mental models that organize complex market dynamics
  • Ability to synthesize insights from multiple data sources into evidence-based strategic narratives
  • Hypothesis-driven thinking and structured problem-solving approach
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Experience with competitive intelligence platforms and research tools

Nice to have

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Strategy, or related field strongly preferred from a top-tier institution
