Compliance Operations Analyst

This role focuses on monitoring and investigating compliance operations and abuse issues within Klaviyo's platform. The analyst will partner with various teams (R&D, Deliverability, Customer) and external vendors to mitigate risk and improve long-term outcomes. A key aspect involves transforming workflows by integrating AI to build smarter systems and enhance operational efficiency. The role requires data analysis proficiency, understanding of AI in detection systems, and the ability to use AI tools to accelerate investigations and summarize incidents.

What you'd actually do

  1. Monitor anti-abuse signals, logs, and alerts to identify likely abuse and separate it from normal behavior; recommend mitigations within established guardrails.
  2. Investigate and address compliance and deliverability-impacting abuse events, engaging and escalating for timely response and mitigation.
  3. Perform customer-impacting incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact; document timelines, key facts, and execute assigned tasks with high follow-through.
  4. Monitor the health of assigned signals (noise levels, failure modes) and raise issues when behavior deviates from expectations.
  5. Transform workflows by putting AI at the center, building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years in a technical SaaS company, anti-abuse, trust & safety, or compliance operations role
  • Data analysis proficiency
  • SQL or equivalent query experience
  • AI fluency

Nice to have

  • preferably at an ESP or high-volume marketing communications provider
