Boeing is seeking a Composite Fabricator C to join their Fabrication team. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing non-metallic parts for airplanes using various methods and equipment. The position requires adherence to quality and safety standards, operating specialized machinery, and working with technical drawings. It also involves physical demands and adherence to export control compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Fabricate, assemble, rework, repair, and finish a variety of non-metallic parts, tools, and assemblies to specifications using methods such as layup, foaming, bonding, molding, and drap forming.
  2. Operate mixers, impregnating equipment, heat treaters, curing equipment, formers, presses, and ovens according to established procedures, as well as various cutting equipment for flat pattern cuts of composite materials.
  3. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering to provide input on design optimization for developmental and emergent projects.
  4. Utilize prints, charts, change notices, sketches, work orders, and engineering drawings to complete work assignments effectively.
  5. Impregnate materials and cut fabrics to size using appropriate tools such as knives and shears.
