  3. Conduct regular system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.
  4. Maintain and configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and troubleshoot radar system components.

Skills

Required

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • IAT Level I Certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Security+, etc.)
  • Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing protocols, and troubleshooting (e.g., OSPF, BGP, DNS, VLANs)
  • Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) or military environment
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM)
  • Experience with PowerShell, Bash and/or Python scripting
  • Familiarity with version control and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, ClearCase)
