This role is for a Computer Systems Analyst at Northrop Grumman, focusing on bridging the gap between business operations and application development teams. The responsibilities include analyzing user requirements, developing system specifications, testing solutions, providing system training, and managing IT projects. Experience with industrial engineering and ERP systems is preferred. A DOD Secret security clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coalesce, analyze and document user requirements and/or problems to improve existing systems
  2. Collaborate with business partners to develop solutions and correct system deficiencies
  3. Develop system specifications that address business requirements aligned with system architectures
  4. Test solutions to ensure optimal system functionality
  5. Monitor integrated system interfaces for errors and resolves as necessary

Skills

Required

  • Master's degree with 0 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience (Level 2)
  • Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience (Level 3)
  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret level security clearance
  • Experience executing in CPLM, SAP/S4, PEO, and/or SmartMES (or other ERP systems)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience interacting and supporting Production Engineering, Shop Floor, Quality, or Supply Chain business process.

Nice to have

  • Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, Polygraph, or SAP/SAR access
  • Understanding of hardware and software requirements, design, development and testing of system integrations
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Industrial Engineering and Production Engineering
  • Subject Matter Expertise using PLM Systems
  • Experience with analyzing lead times, queue times, work-in-process, and cycle times
  • Experience with developing optimized tools in alignment with SAP/MRP systems
  • Experience with incorporating complex interdependence within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools
  • Experience with digital transformation efforts
