Concept Engineering Lead, Hardware

Meta Meta · Big Tech · Sunnyvale, CA

Lead the concept engineering for future consumer hardware products, integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive innovation. This role involves defining strategy, mentoring engineers, and communicating technical direction to leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and lead the concept engineering strategy for next-generation consumer hardware products, supporting early ideation through proof-of-concept
  2. Establish a Concept Engineering architecture frameworks, priorities, and design principles that guide cross-functional hardware development teams across multiple concurrent programs
  3. Support the exploration of novel experiences through bespoke hardware-software systems
  4. Partner with product management, design, and engineering to answer the most important questions quickly and efficiently
  5. Mentor a team of engineers across multiple disciplines, establishing a process for prototype development across the organization
